Celebrate the Summer Solstice, gathering together, with merriment, food and fire...

On Thursday 20th June we invite you, your friends and families to join us for a Jolly Nice midsummer evening, with traditional folk music, food from the fire and a glass or two for good measure.

Summer Solstice is the celebration of the longest day of the year, marking the day with the most sunlight and has been celebrated for thousands of years all over the world.

Ancient people used this day to navigate the turning of the season and it still marks a significant time of the year in the agricultural calendar. For our farmers and growers, it is a time when the fruits begin to ripen and crops start to mature.

So we look forward to gathering around the fire with you - for our first ever 'Summer Solstice Celebration'!

Thursday 20th June | 6pm until late | Food from the fire | Traditional folk music | Free to attend

This is a rain or shine event, with ample seating inside and outside, perfect no matter the weather!
