The farmshop is open every day of the year, other than Christmas Day.
Jolly Nice represents a smorgasbord of fantastic, diverse, local, independent, artisan, seasonal, free range, organically grown, zero dig, regeneratively farmed, pasture fed, biodynamic, Bcorp, small batch, hand crafted, wild, foraged, and award winning produce.
We aim to make traditional, regenerative farming financially sustainable for a network of local suppliers, sourcing from many small family farms and artisan producers who share our values.
We’ve grown organically, and what was once a derelict petrol station is now a handsome hotchpotch of wooden buildings, locally crafted yurts, green barns and a few resident rare breed animals.
We source from several local vegetable growers including Fred in Tetbury who grows organic veg on the King's Duchy estate, Rowie from Purton House Organics and Luke from Crackstone Zero Dig who is creating a sustainable food growing system on a market garden scale, that rebuilds soils and protects the climate.
Meet the founders
Jolly Nice was founded by farmers Rebecca and Simon Wilson in 2013. Rebecca steers the ship and Simon drives the tractor. Their three children have all been involved since the start in developing the business, tasting new recipes and rounding up escapee pigs.

people make a place
In just a few years we've grown from a tiny team of three to a brilliant rabble of fifty, with butchers and baristas, chefs and florists, as well as our expert ice cream makers and cake bakers back on the farm. The team is supported by our office management team and our experienced department heads, and over three quarters of the team are under 25, which is Jolly Nice indeed.
supporting the local community
We source from over 70 micro businesses, providing a route to market that wasn't alway there for many small independent artisans, producers and farmers. We have always committed to paying a fair price so that the amazing work can continue.
